stocking stuffers already?!

christmas is always almost entirely handmade in my books, which, of course, means getting started early. inspired by my long and forgotten love of decoupage, and by this old post on designsponge, i decided to make some pretty fancy pencils.


i made these using scraps of maps from altas' left over from envelope making, and also the linings of security envelopes i had, umm, just sitting around and piling up...the pencils were in a 20-pack for a dollar, and the mod-podge i already had. i think a few tied up with twine will make a sweet stocking stuffer.
